We finally found a venue that we love that combines the nearby location for our guests and our love of the outdoors. The venue told us recently they have started combining a ceremony and cake/punch/toast reception for smaller gatherings. We absolutely love this idea! It keeps things cost effective while giving us our dream wedding vibe.
My question you... What exactly is a cake and punch/toast reception? How do I let guests know on invitations? Is it ok to just have cake and champagne?

    We will probably just do water, a few types of soda, and coffee. Maybe lemonade or iced tea, but we'll see.
