Cabin honeymoon!

Nadya, on November 10, 2020 at 4:18 PM Posted in Honeymoon 1 12
Hey guys, we’ve decided with Covid and travel restrictions to do our honeymoon right after the wedding and go to a cabin in the states. I need help from anyone who’s gone to any beautiful cabins. Here are my requirements:
-secluded
-has wifi/tv -has an indoor jacuzzi and/or out door hot tub-Surrounded by trees
We would prefer it on the east coast or central US area but are open to west coast too.

We did our mini moon at a Cherry Ridge Retreat cabin in Hocking Hills (Ohio), but there are lots of really beautiful cabin options in the area. I know Ohio might not sound like a destination spot, but the Hocking Hills state park is pretty cool and attracts people from all over! It was an easy choice for us since it's under 4 hours away.

I've never stayed at a cabin in these places yet, but we're looking into eventually renting a cabin in Traverse City, Gatlinburg, or somewhere in Maine. (We stayed at a cottage in Maine and it was amazing! Definitely want to go back.)

    Good luck!

Try 'Acorn Acre Tiny Cabin - A Couples Cabin Retreat', in Boone NC. It doesn't have a hot tub but we stayed there a couple of months ago and it was the perfect secluded tiny home. Check it out on Airbnb.

Currently honeymooning in Gatlinburg, and you can’t go wrong with any of the cabins here!

If you were closer or in AZ- come to northern AZ. Pinetop/Lakeside area has decided cabins, pine trees etc. Sedona is also very beautiful!

Gatlinburg! FH and I have been there twice and have had great success with AirBnB cabins. It does take some investigating of the pictures to make sure it is as secluded as you want.
We are actually getting married there in March and then spending a week in a cabin for our honeymoon. 😁

I’m with everyone else on Gatlinburg! We had our mini moon there and we’re going back in a couple weeks for our first anniversary. There’s lots to do, but also plenty of space to stay secluded if that’s what you choose. If you haven’t already, you should “like” Everywhere with Erika on Facebook. She’s an Airbnb rep and always posts amazing cabins in Gatlinburg, Asheville, etc.

FH and I are going on our original minimoon in a couple of weeks even though we postponed the wedding to next year. It’s in a treehouse cabin in Maine and I couldn’t be more excited! Look up Seguin Tree Dwellings. They have 3 cabins you can rent though Airbnb, and we’re staying in the one called Souhegan. It was the wood-fired hot tub in the trees that did it for me!
