Bye bye money!

OMGGGGGGG I LEGIT was coming on here to write the same post lol. Our wedding is 9/19 and starting to send out final payments. I feel like my brain is fried trying to keep up with everything that I kinda can’t fully process it but I can if that makes sense???

You are not alone! I felt the same way the last week or 2 before our wedding. Once the day came, I forgot all about the money.

It’s hard to see savings go!
In money management classes/books it comes up a lot that people are conflicted when using savings, so it’s totally normal!
But think of all the credit card

I am no where near making my final payments but I think it's stressful to think that you see a certain amount in your account and then it disappears, I am having a 30 k wedding and it's like gosh it's one day that's a lot of money

No doubt… weddings are a total waste of money. And with completely changing our entire plans in May, we lost additional money. So that’s why I view it kinda like gambling… only spend an amount that you’re comfortable with losing. In this case, the “win” is a great wedding celebration with family and friends. Otherwise you’ll go crazy! And if you feel that way now, it will probably intensify after seeing how quickly the wedding day flies by (this is my 2nd marriage, so I know). But, yep “bye bye money” is right. Thousands are gone in just a few hours 🤣😂 It’s wild!
