Buying online

Kristen, on August 9, 2021 at 10:22 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 4
There is a designer I absolutely love, but they are based in Australia and do not have retailers in the US. However, they offer virtual appointments to discuss what gowns I like and their process for making a gown for me. If I want to move forward from there, I would pay a deposit and send my measurements. Has anyone ever had experience with this sort of thing? Any tips I should consider?

My suggestion is to try on a similar silhouette to what you want at a local boutique. That way you’ll know how the silhouette looks on your body. Good luck!

I agree with Ariel, make sure you've tried on a similar silhouette and feel confident that style looks good on you. Also make sure you take your measurements carefully. Otherwise, I don't see any issue with buying online if you get a good vibe from the place and it has plenty of good reviews!

(Also, Aussie here, very curious which brand it is!)
