Buying Groomsmen suits instead of renting

FH & all his groomsmen bought their suits! They got them on sale at Macy’s. It’s a Kenneth Cole suit in “bright blue”. FH & I picked out what suit we liked best, all the guys went in the store & tried on a Kenneth Cole suit (as this one was exclusively sold online), and ordered it from the site. It was delivered in about 3 or 4 days. We just told them to get any white button down without a pocket & medium brown dress shoes. My SIL will be making everyone’s bow ties for the wedding. 😊

Following...we’re thinking of doing this too. Men’s Warehouse was recommended to us.

All along my fh wanted to buy the suits. He had this little dry cleaners that also sells suits and rents tuxes and he wanted to do buisnesss with a Mom and pop not a Corp. unfortunately because we have two jr Groomsman and a ring bearer the suits to buy weren’t necessarily going to be the exact color for the smaller ones . It would have been fine it’d it was just the ring bearer but we both want all the groomsm to match. Sooo now they’re renting. I p reonally would have gone to a bigger place so they could have bought- I bet they could’ve accommodated the kids but I let fh handle this and this was what he wanted. 🤷🏼‍♀️

When my son got married all of his groomsman bought blue suits. Macy’s, Kohl’s and J C Penney’s all have great deals on suits.

Our best man went to Suit Supply. It was pretty amazing -- they have everything and are so knowledgeable, and they tailor your suit for you right there. He chose his suit and they said they'd text us when it was ready, so we went and got a coffee and picked-it up an hour later. They're only in bigger cities, but if you can go to one I highly recommend it.
