Bustling a tulle skirt!

My dress is very similar. Is the train all tulle or is there heavier underskirt as well? Mine is all tulle so she said there are endless possibilities for the bustle since it's not heavy and can essentially be bustled anywhere. I definitely second meeting with a seamstress before you worry too much. They are very good at what they do and can accommodate most needs/wants

There is a heavier underskirt but that won’t need a bustle, we are hemming that. The tulle train is 2 layers and that will need a bustle. We are worried that the appliqué will make it too heavy to bustle tulle to tulle so I might need to bustle up to the appliqué. I find out more in a few weeks but I’m looking for ideas to show the seamstress so I can really articulate what I want

View Quoted Comment I had my skirt bustled in a single point, the skirt was a few layers of tulle, top layer with appliques, and with an under lining...it was the only kind of bustle I liked out of all the options...I dont have any pics from the back (at least not on my phone) but this will show what it looked like from the side.

Hi Holly! First off, your dress is GORGEOUS! Second, I think it will look just fine bustled. Don't stress! Talk to your seamstress and see what she can do. This might help you decide & feel more confident about it. Have you found a seamstress yet?
