I went to the seamstress today to get an idea of what she’d do for bustle and she pinned it to American bustle but I didn’t like it at all. It looked all gathered together. I didn’t snap a photo of that quickly enough before she showed me the french bustle option which seemed to not work either because I’m short and the train is too long to be tucked under.
Any ideas for similar dresses? She also told me that since it’s sheath and heavy satin, the bustle won’t look as good as with tougher material.
