Bustle love. How many points did you have?

I don't understand about the points

Mine was a simple reinforced one point. 2 hooks right beside one another in the back.

That was one thing about my first wedding I hated. I only had a 6 point on my cathedral length train, it wasn't bustled properly at the reception. It looked weird when it was bustled correctly anyway... I refused to get a dress that had a huge train for this wedding. I have one, but I didn't bustle it and if I'd had time, I would have cut the train right off.

Mine will have 18 points - 9 under and 9 over. There's lots of tulle in my skirt, but it looks pretty when it's up!

Mine was 9, supposedly. David's really f'ed it up. They did a good job on all the other alterations, except that. It was very uneven and I had buttons with no loops and 2 of the buttons were falling off! We only actually used 5 buttons. If I had been paying attention, there was one of those loops I could have just poor around my wrist and saved myself $85 and an hour of aggravation from sewing and standing there for 20 minutes while they tried to find and pull loops through the lace.

9 points for mine. They were all loop & ribbon & color coded to make it easier on my MOH & mom.

The seamstress says she thinks it will be 5. It will be the same look as OPs, but I have a much shorter/smaller train. Just a sweep train.

I'm nervous about this...my friend didn't even use her bc it was so difficult.
