Burgundy bridesmaid

Hannah, on June 1, 2018 at 10:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13
I'm getting married October 19, 2018 and I want true burgundy. My bridesmaids are pretty frugal, I'd like to stay under $150. I really like the dresses on jjshouse.com but I'm worried the Burgundy isn't really burgundy. I ordered swatches but I still don't really know. I looked on azazie and davids bridal too. I also need it to come in time for an October wedding. I attached a picture of what I'm looking for. Honestly I'm not even sure if that would be categorized as burgundy or cranberry or maroon. HELP PLEASE!!!

Maybe it's my screen, but those look more plum to me. Be careful with JJs House. There are some truly horrible reviews.

Really? My friend used jjshouse for her wedding and they looked beautiful! What is bad about them? The dresses or service or shipping?

My friend who's getting married this September also is having burgundy for her BMs and she order from Azzazzie. You can order a sample dress for $10 and then ship it back, shes already order two sample dresses and she came to my house to show me one, the color is true and the labor of the dress itself is legit. Azzazzie is an actual boutique in California so I guess that's why it's more reliable

Lulus.com has many options in burgundy, free shipping and returns. I would stay away from jjhouse, I have heard bad things.

Daughter is a BIG fan of Azazie. I think, right now, the production time is only 3 weeks, plus another 7-10 days for delivery. SO many options, that with delivery (and, probably even a $10 sample try-on), will come in under $150.

My bridesmaids ordered from Azazie and had a great experience! When I was choosing the color I ordered a bunch of different swatches from them, including burgundy and Cabernet. Their burgundy was more red than I was looking for but the Cabernet looks similar to the photo you posted. I would definitely recommend Azazie! The dresses were affordable, good quality and they have a great variety.

My colors were supposed to be burgundy and blush, but after seeing how red the “burgundy” was from David’s bridal, i chose wine.

On azazie you may want to check under Cabernet because that looks more like Cabernet than burgundy!

Mother of the bride dress from jj-house. Very well made. Slightly darker in person. However probably not the burgundy you have in mind. They are pretty exact to the color squares they show as reference.

My bridesmaids are ordering from Azazie, and the girls whose dresses have already come in love them! They'll send you one swatch for free, and additional swatches are $2. I ordered a swatch in burgundy and one in Cabernet and I ended up going with the Cabernet - it was more what I had in mind and close to your picture!

JJshouse has very mixed reviews but my bridesmaid bought her dress from there and had a good experience. Her dress was custom made and it turned out beautifully. The color burgundy looks more red in pictures so you may want more of a merlot or cabernet color. My girls wore burgundy dresses.

I was in a wedding that went throught JJ's house. For the most part our dresses matched the color swatches and the dress all arrived no more than 3 weeks out from when purchased (some of us did custom sizing and other's didn't and it was still pretty quick.) Mind that's just one experience, so I'd still not wait until the last minute if you do go with them just in case.
