Bunny hop dance

Disneybride, on February 9, 2019 at 7:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
It's tradition in my family to do the bunny hop dance in a conga line I'm considering it even though it's unbelievably corny
Should I do this dance or skip it honest opinions are welcomed

I'm personally not a fan of group dances and probably wouldnt participate if I were a guest.

You should absolutely do it! Who cares what anyone thinks of it’s special to you. I hate the cha cha slide but still get out there at every wedding and slide to the left...slide to the left...

If your family will get out there and do it then I say go for it! If you think the dj plays the music and people just stand around looking amused then dont do it. You know your family and what is considered fun! In Britain they play the Oops Upside Your Head song and every one gets on the floor and rows even the nans and grampys so do what makes you have a great time even if its being silly.

Do it! I have agreed to do the Chicken Dance at our wedding, even though it shows up on every suggested list of Do Not Play songs. FH and I did it at a music festival when we first started dating, and he has a goofy video of me dancing it that he loves for some unknown reason. So now I'm trying to teach our flower girl and ring bearer to do it with me.

If it’s tradition you should do it! People who want to sit out can get a drink, a snack, bathroom break, etc.

Sounds fun! We had a conga line during the cocktail hour of our local reception and almost all guests participated!

Our family has this strange tradition of all the guys getting on a knee and singing Danny Boy to the bride. I’ve always thought it was a silly thing for a wedding, it’s a song about father to his son who he probably won’t see alive again. BUT it’s been done at all my cousins weddings and I know that if I skip it I will always hear at every family gathering down the road that we didn’t do it at my wedding. Sometimes no matter how silly, something is important to your family or is just something you like to do. Don’t worry about what anyone thinks. Enjoy it. (After Danny Boy everyone then gets up and sings the Unicorn with an even crazier arm dance thing- I LOVE that part even though it is sillier than the Chicken Dance. )
