Bundt cake wedding cake

I was going to do bundt cakes but we are having a large wedding than what that will serve so it just wasnt feasible for us..but I love the idea..go for it

I like cake but I’m usually picky about the frosting. Especially grocery store bakeries. They have a chemical taste to their frostings. FH is picky about cake in general and tends to think most cakes are too dry or too sweet. He grew up in Central America where cakes are wet. So this might be the best compromise for us while still having cake for our guests.

As of now we’re thinking we will have between 50-75 guests so we will have more than one bundt cake. Maybe do a grooms bundt cake as well. I’d like to have different flavor options.

I would definitely see if there is a Nothing Bundt Cake shop near you. They aren't wet or dry on the inside. They are perfectly moist in the cake part and the icing doesn't cover the whole cake and isn't overly sweet. I love sweets but I can't do much that's too rich in sweetness or flavor. Which is why I LOVE their cakes!!

We were even going to do the mini bundt cakes as favors but then it just got to be too much but I love the idea of everything about it. I talked about it so much my sorority sisters did it for me as a bridal shower cake

If FH’s family wasn’t against edible favors, I’d totally do that!

What kind of favors are you having if they are against edible favors? I was going to do the bundtini's? I love these, I was going every weekend as a guilty pleasure to the store and eating them

FH is from Guatemala and a wedding favor in Spanish is a “recuerdo” which basically translates to a “memory” and his family says you don’t look back and remember an event with a cookie or food. So we were thinking of these:

Its a kit to grow roses. I have some roses in my boquete and both his and my side of the family have gardens or tons of house plants. We were also gonna put a “let love grow” tag on it.

If not, we may just get some succulents. It’s something we haven’t made the final decision on quite yet.
