Bummed

Laralee, on March 28, 2020 at 9:05 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 9
Our original date was April 25th but due to the Coronavirus and social gathering restrictions we decided to postpone. I'm bummed but I want to play it safe too. We have a lot of wedding guests that cannot afford to get the virus.

So sorry to hear that! You made the best decision though. What’s your new date?

Ours was suppose to be April 25th also! We were having a destination wedding and getting married on the beach in Destin and unfortunately they canceled all events so we had no other choice but to reschedule. But we were also concerned about some of our loved ones having to travel. I was so disappointed and sad that, that wouldn’t be “our date” anymore. I’ve finally accepted it (for the most part lol). Our new date is September 25th and although that isn’t “our date” I just keep reminding myself that it’s going to be much more special. Best wishes to you!

I know it's hard to grasp but I want everyone to be there and I want our day to be special.

Totally understandable that you're bummed!! It sucks that you're dealing with postponement but you are so smart to play it safe. I hope you are excited (and relieved) about having a new date to look forward to. Are you planning to do anything special for your original date?

Absolutely better to be on the safe side 😁. We don't have anything planned for the original date or anything like that. I'm very excited to get married and cannot wait for that day to come.
