Bummed about broken toe and foot

I posted the other day how I had an accident and broke several bones in my toe and foot. I am getting married next Saturday and have to wear this God awful boot. I really hope it doesn’t show too much under my dress as it is about 2” in height and I was wearing flats. My dress alterations are done. At least it’s a ball gown and will hide most of it. It just stinks that this had to happen as I am about to marry my high school seeetheart who had originally proposed 30 years ago. We broke up and rekindled 5 years ago. I am going to put rhinestone hearts and bling on my boot to try and make the best of it. I guess the important part is I am marrying my soul mate. Trying to see the blessings in all of it.
