Mine was $58 per person. It came with a beef, chicken, seafood, pasta and side dish option. I got one of each from a list of 3 beef, 3 chicken and so on. We also got 2 salad options, rolls and fresh seasonal veggies. This price didn't include the alcohol package, that was a separate cost. And my venue didn't provide cake but a local bakers cake was perfect.

ETA: this price also included appetizers during cocktail hour. 2 stationary cold apps and 3 passed hot apps. We really got a great deal for our wedding.

We are doing a custom brunch menu, with a ton of options, AND bloody mary and mimosa bar for $45 a person. I was AMAAAAZED when we found it. Dinner would've been twice that much

(We are in Denver for reference, as everyone will tell you this varies greatly)

Son's wedding, last Saturday night, restaurant ceremony/reception, $105 PP plus gratuities and tax, and additional charge for full, top shelf open bar. That's a steal in our area.

The menu consisted of passed meat apps, stationary veggie apps and dip, a delicious salad of greens with cheese, walnuts, and dressing, Chateaubriand, Veal Rollatini, North Atlantic Salmon, Encrusted Halibut, Chicken Parmigiana, Vegetarian Plate, Vegan Plate (all with sides).

I'm paying $54 pp plated after serious negotiation! I have 2 entree with Flank steak and chicken, alfredo pasta side, with mixed veggies, a caesar salad, and dinner rolls. This includes a 4 tier cake, cake cutting fee, and bar service (ice, cups, and sodas) but additional $300 for the actual bartenders.

ETA: Your location and time of the year will also play a big roll in the price.

What everyone else is paying is irrelevant. You have to choose from what's available and the going rate where you live.

We are paying $24 pp for our pasta bar. It comes with 3 different types of sauces, chicken, meatballs, veggies, salad, and bread. Our cake and alcohol are separate.

For us, it will be 25pp. This includes roast beef, stuffed chicken, pasta, salad, green beens, roasted potatoes, & a roll. We are buying all the alcohol which will be about $1500-$2000 for 165 people. We are getting our cake from a local bakery and that is a 4 tier cake for $670.

I put together a custom package with my caterer and it was a bit under $5k (including tips and taxes) for 80 people, 3 passed appetizers during cocktail hour, three bartenders, one busser, five servers, and one catering coordinator. We had a staffed buffet to move everyone along quickly and to control serving sizes. For food we had one salad at dinner, three dinner options, bread with an oil mix on all of the tables. This included our non-alcoholic drinks and cake cutting fee.

    ETA: Clarity
