buffet reception timeline ideas?

So for out reception we are going to do a buffet style.

Theres going to be 30-50 people coming.

I need some ideas how to layout the the timeline.

I can have the reception anytime from 1pm- 8pm.

(People are going to be bringing thier own alcohol)

Any ideas?

    We are having our ceremony at 6pm, then we will go take pics and when we get back do cake cutting and dances so dinner would be around 730pm, then the dancing starts lol. That's our timeline. So I guess it depends on when u want ur reception to start. What day of the week is it on?
