For the first time, I feel nervous for our wedding. We invited 90 - expected 60 - but have 75 confirmed YES. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!! The reception venue seats 60 comfortably, and the coordinator insists it'll be fine if we don't have a seat for everyone ... I'm not planning on assigned seating anyway. But what do you think? Will people be ok without their own seat? I hope everyone will mingle and not eat at the same time ... but I certainly don't want people eating standing up.... what to do??? Thank you!!

Omg DO NOT LISTEN TO HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happened at my first wedding. No joke and the cater pulled out more chairs and charged my parents 20 each and then up the price of their food for "unexpected charges" THEN on top of that the venue wanted them to pay for breaking "fire code" for how many people the venue can hold. This was AFTER we told by the Holiday in Super Dome over and over it would be "be fine" if it happened.

I had a TON of people standing for a long time. People who looked confused and wondering around. It was crazy!! If I can hand out ANY advise.. DO NOT DO IT. The coordinator's job is there to sell you the venue, worry about the venue not save you money!!
