Hello, Is anyone else wondering what phase 4 guidelines will include for your wedding g? Our venue will not move us to 2021 with 250 guests and we have asked several times. They have not offered us with any helpful guidelines whatsoever. And I’m worried for our loved ones and friends.
Hello,

Yes it is a tough decision to make. However I feel no more stress on having our friends and family in a situation where they may contract COVID at our wedding. Or with us having so many of our guests coming from out of states that are currently on travel bands. Allowed my fiancé and I to give them much more notice that what our venue would have allowed for. And they are now at ease that we can celebrate more in confidence next September.

Thank you for the update. Such an unknown time and scary for sure. We moved ours to a new venue/location and cancelled our venue. They were not understanding at all and a 6 weeks notice to reschedule to next year is what they only could provide.

Hi there! Fellow buffalo bride here, 09/12/20 at The Foundry and we are going forward strong but I’m also in the same boat of uncertainty with the guest amount. We have a list of 90, not sure who all will show up but I’m not sure the amount of gatherings either! What is your venue? I’m sorry they aren’t being more accommodating😞

    Good afternoon,

It was a tough decision but we had to move ours to next year with 250 guests and so many important people living in different states some of which they can’t leave from right now. Our venue Notting Hill Farm is a new venue and very well could be why they gave us such a difficult time and giving us only a 6 week notice. I lost ally of disrespect for them and my wedding guests could not believe how they were handling everything. I wish you luck and with 90 guests you hopefully will be okay.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry it wasn’t smooth for you! 😭 I knew some people that got married there last year and loved it but I wish they could be more understanding during this super uncertain and stressful time for couples. Our contact at the venue was actually let go last week and I’ve been in the dark about who is going to be helping us moving forward so I’m meeting the manager tomorrow but still super insane for some things are being handled! I told the manager I don’t mean to be inconsiderate to other brides or people losing jobs but I still would like my time/money/business to be respected if big changes will be happening for the wedding. I hope we will be alright too, and I hope you find some peace throughout all of this!
