So this is vastly going to depend on food costs. I had a slightly smaller budget and a few less people, but also in an expensive part of the country. The food/alcohol is usually the biggest cost. The easiest is to cut in places like stationary. For instance, I bought my invites through Ann's Bridal Bargains. They are 99 cents per invite (including RSVP and envelopes). I bought them on Black Friday when they were having a 30% off sale. We nixed the photobooth and videography. Check out what vendors cost in your area, and you will have a much better idea. For things like my veil and hair accessories, I bought stuff off Amazon for way cheaper than in the bridal shops. Facebook wedding groups and the marketplace are a good place to get second hand decor pieces.

Thanks Hannah! I will definitely look into invites on black friday as well as amazon for my veil and hair accessories!

I wanted to spend $12k on 60 guests...which in the last year has turned into $25k on 80 guests. Everything costs double what I originally thought, or I really hate the cheap version of something, or my fiance insists we need something I thought we didn't, or I get bored and we've been engaged so long I think it's ok to spend a little more. So here is what we have spent/will spend:

    Venue: $2500

    Catering: $4000

    Photographer: $2200

    Videographer: 0

Floral: $1200 (bouquets, corsages, bouts, ceremony arch)

Decor/Signs: ~$800 (DIY centerpieces, mantle decor, guestbook table, cake table decor, signs, candles)

    Jewelry: $30

    Rentals: $2500

    Beauty: $700

    Alcohol: $2000

    Dessert: $450

Attire: $1500 (bridal gown, alterations, veil)

    DJ: $1650

Stationary: $300 (save the dates, invites, programs)

    Photobooth: 0

    Misc: Officiant: $600

    Ceremony Music: $560

    Lodging: $750

    Wedding Rings: $1400

    Marriage License: $70

Parent and wedding party gifts: ~$500

There will still be more lodging and travel expenses as well, plus my fiance's tux.

Rehearsal Dinner: $500+ estimate (s'mores and catering from Publix)

My engagement photos were $400 +outfits, boudoir photos were $450 +$150 for the prints.

Other people hosted/will host my bridal shower and bachelorette party.

This does not include the honeymoon which we haven't planned yet.

I would have never believed it would be so expensive or cost more than my car...but it'll be over in November!

Same here....started with a budget of $8k for 60 people. Now we are at $13k for 80 people and still climbing. Even the honeymoon budget has nearly doubled.

I thought my budget would be about $10,000 for 40 people because I wanted an intimate wedding but it's turned into 92 guests and closer to $25,000 max which is why we had an almost 2 year engagement lol

    Venue - $2,700

    Catering- $3,000

    Photographer- $3,000

    Videographer $1,850

Floral- $600 (corsages, boutonnieres, bridal bouquet. no centerpieces. I purchased centerpieces from the event decorator so that is included in that cost)

Decor/Signs- maybe $500 for Disney decor to add to already decorated wedding and photobooth props I purchased myself, etc.

    Jewelry - $150

    Rentals (event decorator) about $2,400

    Beauty-$2,220 makeup& hair for everyone

    $300 bellami hair extensions

Alcohol- $700 to host a few kegs but not having open bar.. we do not drink

Dessert- $700 for cake + chocolate covered strawberries and rice krispy treats

    Attire- me: $2,200 + $500 ish alterations

him: free because he won a certificate to pick out any suit he wants at a wedding show we went to last year

DJ- $800 (dad is a wedding DJ; his colleague gave us a discount

Stationary- $220 for custom made invitations and $50-60 ish for vistapritn save the date cards

    Photobooth- $650

    Wedding rings- $3,200

Gifts for wedding party and parents- $500-600

My dad is officiating so that's why there's no cost included, we haven't gone into get our marriage license yet, and our engagement photos were included in the $3,000 photography price.. we just didn't have them done yet. We will be getting Christmas pictures done instead because my fiance started a new job this year and can't take a lot of time off yet.

We spent about 17k for 100 people so I think our budget ratio would be similar on most things because you’d have to spend more on beverages and food.
    Heres our breakdown:

    Venue - $1750

    Catering - about $6500

    Photographer - $2000

    Videographer - $930

    Floral - $100 (just bouquets)

    Decor/Signs - $50

    Jewelry - used family jewelry

    Rentals - didn’t have any

Beauty - $200 for my hair (including tip) and I did my own makeup

    Alcohol - $2200

    Dessert - $600 (cake)

Attire - $550 for my dress, $200 for husband’s tux

    DJ - $0 - used a Spotify playlist

Stationary - $190 for invitations, $70 for postage, $10 for thank you cards, $50 for thank you card postage

    Photobooth - didn’t have one

Misc - the only other things I can think of are my veil ($40) and bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts (4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen, $50-70 per gift so total was around $500 for all the gifts), card box ($20), shoes ($40)

We started with a 25k budget, but we’ll be going over that. We currently have 185 on the guest list, but wedding isn't until next July.

    Floral: $2000

Decor/Signs: DIY (haven’t really been keeping tab...maybe at $200 so far?)

Jewelry: Most likely very minimal jewelry, if any at all

    Rentals: Included with catering

    Beauty: $250 makeup, $150 hair

    Alcohol: Included with catering

Dessert: Will be determined in January

Attire: Hoping for under $500 for the dress

DJ: $600 (local professional radio host acquaintance)

Stationary: $150 (planning on using Black Friday deals at VistaPrint)

    Photobooth: Undecided on this yet

    Oh I left out:
Tips - $150 for photographers (there were 3, we gave $50 each... and tried to give $50 to our videographer but he refused to take it). $300 for catering staff.

Rehearsal dinner- I think it was around $650 for 22 people, including tip. Plus around $200 for alcohol.

Our budget is in that range. We also are inviting 175 (expect around 130-140). I used the WW budget app. I stayed pretty close to their suggestions. My venue was more expensive, but we are not have a videographer. However, my venue includes a DJ. Half of budget is food/bar. We are doing open beer, wine, and liqour.

My budget was bigger than that but generally 50-60% of your overall budget should be spent on venue/food/alcohol. I’m not sure what area of the country you’re in but finding a reasonable caterer will be key.

Most of my budget went to purely the food costs for the reception. So my budget total was around 16.2k and of that 13.7k was for the reception (doesn't include additional alcohol and the cake). But my 16.2k budget also doesn't include about 2k worth of things like his suit since he wears that more than once and whatever else we are using beyond the wedding

$21,727 for 97 people at a local farm. Wedding is in 8 days, so I think this should be fairly accurate.

    Videographer: $0

Floral: $450 12 dried lavender arrangements that I made, 8 fresh green garlands and my bouquet. We don't have a wedding party.

Decor/Signs: $200 for tableclothes and a roll of cheesecloth we are going to use for table runners. $35 for Etsy instructions on how to eat lobster, $37 table numbers, $15 for handmade escort cards, $70 for escort card display, $80 for utensil caddies,

Jewelry: $1100 for our wedding bands (not including engagement ring in this)

    Rentals: $2296 for tent

Beauty: $300 hair, $150 for makeup that I bought to use on the day

    Alcohol: $750 (beer and wine)

    Dessert: $350 fresh fruit tartlettes
