Bubbles or confetti

Melissa, on June 7, 2018 at 2:25 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 12
I want to do a ceremony exit. I can’t decide on either bubbles or the confetti poppers. Has anyone done either of those for their wedding? Where did you buy them? My wedding is on the beach, I’m worried about polluting and the animals with the confetti poppers.

Bubbles get really sticky when they land on people, and unless your photographer is super experienced with, will probably come out poorly in photos. And I agree about the environmental implications of confetti, especially at the beach. Have you considered ribbon wands?

No, I really wanted sparklers but they’re not allowed at the venue. Plus, we are staying on property so I don’t really have an ‘exit’ other than ceremony. I’ve seen some articles that there’s better bubble brands than others?

I was thinking bubbles too, because confetti would be crazy hard to clean up! Bubbles seem less of a hassle! I also really like the pictures!

UO - bubbles pop when they hit people and leave soap rings on your guest's good clothes. As another PP mentioned, they are also sticky. Definitely don't do the poppers. I'd be surprised if they were allowed on a beach. Maybe consider ribbon wands instead.

The only thing my venue allows for a send off is lavender which they supply. It's even in the contract that the only thing allowed to be used during the send off is lavender. So maybe do something like that? Flowers won't pollute the environment for the animals so your safe on that front. They also don't cause people or their clothes to get sticky so another plus for them.

I saw this on Amazon...pop-out streamers! They stay attached to the canister, so easy clean-up.

Have you seen the dried flower/flower petal confetti? No idea who sells this type of thing but saw it on Instagram the other day

I had planned bubbles, but now it's the pop-up streamers from Amazon!
