Bubble Machine Recommendations

Mandi, on June 18, 2019 at 8:47 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
So my ceremony venue is totally cool with me using a bubble machine indoors. (They're cool with almost anything. I lucked out.)
Bubbles have a special meaning to me. So I really want a bubble machine.
Of course the rental place I'm using no longer has a bubble machine.
So I'm looking to purchase 1 or 2.
I'm wondering if you or your kids have a bubble machine you really like? I'm totally willing to buy a couple cheapie kid toys.

Oh, I have one I use at work but I cannot remember the brand name! It looks very similar to this one on Amazon: link here

Ours has AWESOME output buuuut it does tend to leak and the bubbles popping leave a residue on everything in the radius directly surrounding it, so do be aware of that! I'd recommend putting it on a towel and making sure it's not placed near anything valuable or difficult to clean. I wouldn't recommend a kid's one, you won't get nearly the output as with one of the more professional ones and they break much easier. I also recommend aiming a fan near the machine to encourage the bubbles to spread and float farther if you're really trying to fill the room, otherwise they drop quickly without going too far. Good luck!

Hi Mandi! Have you looked at any other rental companies, or are you happy to buy these? Are you looking for smaller handheld toy kinds? Would you get the look that you are envisioning by giving little bottles of bubbles to your guests, or to the guests who are sitting on the aisles?

It seems like it might be cheaper to purchase.
If I do the handheld ones, itd be for my flower girls and ring bearers instead of flower petals and pillows.
I'm looking for something that's more constant/heavier bubble output than an audience member.
