Brunch cocktail hour

Laressa, on January 12, 2020 at 5:26 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
Hey I don’t know if my message posted before . I’m having a brunch for my wedding and didn’t really plan on having a cocktail hour but now I may want to do something small in between time . I’m only having wine and mimosas not open bar . I didn’t want to make it a big plated thing because they will be outside during this time with limited seating , any thoughts or suggestions on what I can have ?

    Here's a few ideas.

Mini waffles or mini chicken and waffles
    Mini pancakes
    Fruit and yogurt
    Mini donuts

Some things I can think of:
    fruit skewers
smoothies (could be an action station or even just in little cups)
    mini bagels

Are you taking photos after the ceremony? If not, you could escort everyone to the reception and begin.

You’re right, not much is needed for a brunch cocktail hour. Maybe a table of cheese, crackers, grapes? If you want one fancy bite-sized appetizer to add to the mix maybe prosciutto on cantaloupe cube, or a mini potato latke with sour cream on top? Definitely have bread or crackers if guests are drinking for an hour before brunch is served.

I'd have at least two passed appetizers within your brunch theme.

You can't go wrong with cheese, crackers, fruit and veggies!
