Brunch, anyone?

Dreia, on November 11, 2022 at 8:27 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 13
Hello! Does anyone have any brunch ideas for a reception that starts before 1pm? I know I want bottomless mimosas, tea, coffee, etc. As well as finger breakfast items like cinnamon rolls, muffins, fresh fruit. I was possibly even thinking fried chicken and waffles since my FH family loves them. Thank you 💖

My daughter had a brunch reception and it was lovely. She had a gourmet coffee/tea cart before and after the ceremony (which started at 11:00). The "cocktail hour" included mimosas and pastries/fruit parfaits. The brunch was breakfast sandwich croissants, veggie frittata, bacon/ham/sausage, fruit salad and country potatoes with cinnamon rolls from https://www.cinnaholic.com/ for "dessert".

I love all of your ideas so far, especially chicken and waffles! Some other breakfast/brunch items you can add are: a few types of quiche, French toast casserole, bacon, breakfast sausage, pancakes, a crepe bar, steak and eggs, Bagels with cream cheese and lox. Mmm i love breakfast foods!

Thank you so much! I didn’t included shrimps and grits for food allergy reasons ( but I love it though). I’m still trying to figure out my starches however!

What's the plan for food preparation? Do you have a caterer or some other option?

Yes it should be plain and then if you give them that option they can add there own toppings like cheese, Bacon pieces, shrimps and chives or parsley.
