Throughout the whole planning process, I have been most conflicted & emotional about the father daughter dance as my dad has passed. My 1st thought was to ask my FFIL but my mom shared that she'd love it if I danced w my brother (my dads only son and my only sibling) but I couldn't think of a song that would be fitting and wasn't sure if it would feel awk dancing w my bro!? lol. Then, I saw a video on WW a bride posted and it all became clear....Crosby Stills and Nash's "Teach Your Children" is a perfect song (my dad, my brother and I all love CSN) so I asked my Brother, he accepted and we'll be surprising my mom! He's even agreed to a private dance lesson next week so we will feel more confident and have a few steps that go w the tempo of the song. I think it's a perfect song to honor our dad. Did anyone do a brother/sister dance....was it awkward? What song did you dance to? I'm hoping this goes just like I'm playing out in my head!! :×)
