Brother of the bride attire

Long story short, my father passed away and I don't have contact with my step dad so, my brother is walking me down the aisle and we're sharing a dance. Does it matter what he wears? We're having a fairly casual wedding. All the GM'S are wearing blacks slacks with navy shirts and orange ties, should be be dressed similar? I'm. Just not sure how all this works...

    I don't think he has to match colors but I think it would be good if his attire has the same level of formality as the bridal party

    I think something similar would be good maybe change up the color of the tie or the shirt but a similar level of dress would be appropriate.

    That would work! Or you could keep him in black and navy with a different tie. I think it would look nice if he was similar but a little different from the GM

    My dad is wearing the same tux as the GM but with an ivory or white bow tie to match my dress. I hope that helps!

    Thanks everyone! I'll definitely talk to him too. I don't want to put him in something he's not comfortable with. He and I aren't fans of attention so maybe same shirt different tie would be best

    I would do the same formal level but maybe just a white shirt with an orange tie or something a little different.
