bringing your fiancee dress shopping

My FH wanted no part of it. Initially before we got engaged he was all ready to go shopping! Like he wanted to go dress shopping and everything else. After he put my ring on my ring finger he wanted nothing to do looking at my dress before the wedding! He does however help with the planning. He's helped me pick out everything except for the cake!

Even for my first marriage, I took my fiancé dress shopping with me. I figured that he was going to be spending more time looking at my dress than I was, so I might as well get something that we both liked.

For my second marriage, NotFroofy and I shopped together, since we wanted to make sure our dresses would coordinate.

My FH went with me as well, but he doesn't know which dress I picked.

If you want him there then bring him! My FH refused to see my dress and still if I start talking about it to much he changes the subject. He knows that it's strapless because I wanted him to help me pick out my necklace since we both wanted me to wear pearls cause that's his birthstone. Lol He also knows I won't fit in a photobooth.

I was going to say, if you don't care, its no big deal....but I like Kimberly's idea...my FH is like Cyndi B....he wants nothing to to with the dress....he wants to be completely and totally surprised...he wont even agree to do first look photos because he wants the first time that he sees me in my dress to be when I'm walking down the aisle. At first it was killing me- I an awful at surprises and keeping secrets, but now I'm fine with it. I say if he is your only support and he wants to be involvrf, and it is okay with you and you won't be disappointed that he saw you already, go for it! What works for dome doesn't work for others!!!

Its all up to you...i say maybe try on dresses but dont tell him which one you pick so there is still the element of suprise!
