Bridesmaidzillas

Future Mrs Wilson, on July 1, 2019 at 11:35 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4
So I wrote earlier that two of my bridesmaids cursed me out for not inviting them to all of the wedding dress shopping events six months ago. They laid the guilt on pretty heavy. I just had a mua trail and I went by myself. I need to start shopping for shoes and I am thinking of going b6 myself. This whole thing makes me feel pressured to invite them instead of it being casual and laid back invite. I would rather go alone now. Smh

Yea honestly going alone isn't so bad.
I went by myself for everything because 1) easier to schedule and 2) at the end of the day it's my choice for everything anyway

I tend to do all these things alone as well. Mostly because my family/friends are in another state, but it's also easier than upsetting others. I tend to purchase what I like and send a picture to the everyone if I'm excited and want to show it off. If I am torn between things, I text my options and get feedback, but in the end I still get to decide without the direct pressure.

My bridesmaids aren't really doing much with me haha. Mostly because they live out of state, but realistically, I know what I want. If you are feeling pressured, maybe ask them what all they would like to be involved in. That way you know what they would like to be a part of, and not just invite them to invite them if that makes sense.

I'm doing things by myself, because I feel like too many opinions can hinder decisions.
