Bridesmaids

0. That's just me, and seemingly an unpopular decision, but I just hate the look and idea of bridesmaids and groomsmen. (My poor FH didn't see that one coming.) Maybe we'll work something out so he has his GM, 4 of them, but I didn't wish to have any girls up there with me. To each their own, never be afraid to be different.

Its totally up to you; however many you feel comfortable with. I have a total of 3; 1 MOH and 2 bridesmaids (childhood best friend is MOH; college best friend and cousin are BM's). I decided on small as a preference to me; I'm an only child and these 3 are the ones that have supported and been there for me thru thick and thin and I wouldn't have it any other way. I honestly don't think that I would have more...smaller party for me is less drama...they get me and we all get along.

I have 7 bridesmaids: 1 from elementary school, 2 sisters, 3 from college, 1 post-college friend. My FH will only have 4. I don't think it is important to have the same number on each side, he wasn't going to as random people, and I wasn't going to cut my important people.
