Bridesmaids

Tori, on June 29, 2019 at 8:52 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 4
Ladies! I need help! I am trying to choose a maid of honor. My friend of many years whom I am close to but is not my best friend as she used to be is expecting to get this position. But I have a friend who is closer and has become more like a sister to me. I want her to have this position. I also have two sisters but I don’t feel we are close enough for this position. I don’t know who to choose! I don’t want to hurt feelings. Advice?

I would go with who you are closest to and who you want to have that place. Your sisters will understand!

You could always just have multiple maids of honor. I had two maids of honor.

You choose who feels right to you. I don't have sisters, so I chose one of my oldest and closest friends. We've been friends for over half of our lives and she's been there for me in some of my darkest times. I trust her to keep me in mind with any decisions she may make along the way and I know sh'll do a great job as my MOH.

    Hi Tori!

It sounds like you have already made your decision as to who you want to be your maid of honor.

If you are worried about your other BM's reactions to finding out, you should definitely tell each of them individually and not let them find out from each other. You will be able to explain your decision and reiterate how much each of them means to you. They will understand and appreciate that you were honest and open with them.
