What are some of the ways you’ve asked ladies to be by your side on your big day ? Looking for ideas ! Also, what kind of gifts did you give them ?!

I put a bottle of their favorite wine in these bags and wrote a note about our relationship on the back of these cards Smiley smile

I'm making bridesmaid boxes, even though 4/5 of my bridesmaids already know they are being asked. Boxes are totally not necessary, but I'm crafty and thought it would be fun. I bought $1 photo boxes at Michaels and lined them with sparkly paper, then added lace and a bow to the top. I filled them with a personalized wine tumbler in my wedding colors (I got myself a matching one and plan to use them for bach party and getting ready), small beauty items like hair ties, a face mask, and a "bride tribe" mirror. They also each include a card and a mini bouquet. I'll try to remember to post pics later. All in all they probably cost around $20 per box.

I went a little extra but I figured this is my time to be over the top. If not now, when? I sent invitations a few weeks ahead asking them to join me for a brunch to celebrate my engagement. I treated them to brunch and champagne. Also I had prepared bridesmaid proposal boxes for each girl including their names on each box, a personal note asking them to be bridesmaids, a mini bottle of bubbly, a getting ready robe for the day of, a candle, chocolate, and a few extra goodies. The boxes already incorporated my wedding colors and revealed our big date to them first. After brunch we took group pics with giant balloons and later in the day I posted to social media that my squad was complete. No regrets!! I went big but my girls deserve it because their friendships helped me thru the years in many ways. Of course you can choose to do all of this and more or nothing at all. It can be as simple or extravagant as you make it.

I put together these boxes I got on Amazon. I filled them with champagne splits or coffee, cookies that I made and decorated, a candle in my favorite scent, and a face mask. I also included some info cards (Our Day, Your Role, Your Attire). It was in October so I invited all my girls over to carve pumpkins, it was something we used to do as kids together.

Our colors are sage and lilac (a combo of FH's fave color green and my fave purple). We are also going to use some blush and gold, so I used blush/pink in the boxes too. The wine tumblers are purple with their names in white, and mine is white with my name in purple Smiley smile

I just asked them in regular conversation and gave them a thank you note and small gift at the rehearsal dinner.

That's awesome! I wish my BMs were local so I could celebrate and take pics with them all together. None of them live near me, so I'm giving my boxes to each of them when I have the chance to see them next. Sounds like you had lots of fun.

I got each of my bridesmaids a personalized stainless steel wine cooler, a hair tie (that matches my color scheme) that is tied around a card that says "I cannot tie the knot without you", and a bottle of wine. My bridesmaids are from all over, so I am just giving them their gift bags when I see them! I got some mauve ribbon to tie bows around the bags.

I texted them individually first to make sure they had the time & could afford it. Then I sent formal proposals in the mail, they were jewelry boxes with liquor shooters, nail polish and hair ties that said "to have and to hold your hair back". For the bachelorette, I made favors that were hangover kits & wine tumblers. On the day of, I paid for HAMU for everyone, transportation, breakfast & lunch, a chair masseuse, and gifted each girl a getting ready outfit (they picked out of 3 options), a tote, a tumbler, a cute pair of socks, and a letter.

I did a candle, lotion from bath and body. And they all had had a shot in them of their favorite drink. I didn’t do anything too expensive or customized for asking them just because there is a chance that they will say “no” so I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on personalized things. I will be doing personalized things for the gifts for them though the day of!

I have not sent mine yet (still waiting on one last item to come in) but they will include

-Robe with bridesmaid or Maid of Honor (also got one for my daughter that says Flower Girl)

-Socks that say Bridesmaid or Maid of Honor on the bottom

-OPI nail polish called "Mimosa's for the Mr. and Mrs."

-Champagne flute tumblers that says "brides drinking team"

-Water bottles that say "hydrate b*****s"

    -mini bottle of champagne

-Novelty pen with big "diamond" on top

and a personalized letter from me asking them, I went way over the top, but I wanted it to be fun and all things we can use for getting ready.
