Bridesmaids

Like Gen, I simply asked if they wanted to be my BM. I didn't do a whole BM proposal, but I of course got them BM gifts closer to the wedding!

I just asked all of mine at Christmas with these! I didnt talk to them beforehand, but i know my two best friends and sister had an idea. My FH sisters didn’t have a clue and theyre sooo excited!

I'm doing a bridesmaid proposal. I think it's cute and fun. They don't know they're getting anything except for the MoH but she doesn't know what they're getting. The kinda creepy picture is actually a digital drawing from someone I worked with so I'm going to pritnt the invite cards with that on one side.

I sent them cards from Zazzle since they all live in different states. I mentioned to it prior because I couldn't contain my excitement lol. So they knew a head of time and I just just made it official by sending them proposal cards.

I did a bridesmaid proposal. Got the cards n made an individualized goody bag with a candle, candy, their favorite wine, and another gift .

I also just asked. I didn't feel the need to give them a gift to help them say yes.

I asked them before I did the whole proposal so they didn’t feel obligated to say yes when I officially asked. They all said yes when I informally asked and obviously yes again when I officially asked!

When they congratulated me my reply was "I want you to be a bridesmaid". In November I invited them all out to lunch and did my official proposal with wine bottles that read will you be my bridesmaid.

I actually did 3 different "proposals" depending on each girl. For my sister, MOH, I created a custom card and a proposal box with champagne, a nice glass, and a bracelet. For another bridesmaid, I also did a custom card, but in her box put some wine and skin/facial care products (spa-themed). For my last bridesmaid, my roommate, we had actually already planned on going to a cake decorating event thrown by my bakery. I contacted the bakery ahead of time and they made a custom cake topper that read, "Will you be my bridesmaid?". I stuck it on her cake when she was done decorating it. My roommate really doesn't like gifts, so doing it at the event was perfect for her.

I think that is very considerate of you to ask before getting them a gift! I see nothing wrong with asking before making it official!

I have specific shoes I want the bridesmaides to wear(sparkly chucks) and got cute cozies on etsy !
