I'm having them all wear the same. I was going to have my moh wear a different dress but everyone ended up liking the same one equally

I had everyone pick a style they liked, I have a wide range of body shapes in my bridal party so not one dress would look good on all of then. I just wanted everyone to feel beautiful in a dress they picked!

My 2 Are Wearing The Same Color But Picking Their Own Style Because They Have Different Body Types. MOH Is Wearing A Different Color.

I hate the idea of making multiple women wear the same dress because no two bodies are the same. Been through it myself and I’m not a fan of it.


I have 2 bridesmaids and let them pick their own styles providing that the dresses were floor length, black, and the same fabric (ie I didn’t want one in sequins and one in silk). In the end my girls actually did choose the same dress funnily enough, but I was glad that they did so on their own accord!

Definitely Want Them To Be Comfortable

I chose several shades of blue and each of my girls chose a shade of that blue with a dress style that suited them best. I am so happy that they chose the style that looks best on them because while they are all plus size, there was no one style that was the best for them across the board. And, they got to express a little bit of their personality in choosing the dress.

I had mine wear the same dress except for my maid of honor. She was supposed to, but a week before the wedding she used to wear it because she didn't like how it looked once it was altered. She apparently never liked the dress even though she was there when we picked it out. This caused me a lot of stress because I had to find her a new dress within 7 days. Our dresses were from David's Bridal so I was able to find a dress in the same color in her size so I had to have it shipped overnight. Our seamstress was luckily able to hem it in time. On the way to rehearsal, my maid of honor burnt the bottom of the new dress because she tried to through a cigarette out her car window. One of my bridesmaids had to pin the bottom of the dress the morning of the wedding to hide the burn mark. I didn't find out until after the wedding because my maid of honor didn't tell me. If I could do it again, I would have let them decide the style. It was so stressful dealing with my maid of honor.

I'm thinking of doing one of the dresses where it's the same dress, but they can wear the top in different ways depending on how they want it. Then it's basically the same in pictures, and will definitely all be the same color, but they can individualize it a bit.

I let my bridesmaids all pick their own style. I picked the color and length, and they were free to pick any style they wanted. They all ordered their dresses through Azazie.

No, I didn’t. Everyone is shaped differently so I wanted them to find a dress that suits them. My bridesmaids are wearing Ice Blue and my MOH is wearing a colbalt, lace blue dress.

I’m letting them pick any black bridesmaids dress that they feel comfortable in. I’m going to ask them how they feel about black first and if they don’t like black I’m just gonna have them pick out any bridesmaid style dress that they want.As much as I would love to have all black bridesmaids dresses, it’s more important to me that my girls feel comfortable. There’s so many different factors in insecurities that women have as I’m sure you know, myself included, and I would never want to put Someone in a strapless dress that hates their arms, or a dress that a larger busted girl has to find a special bra for etc. when girls feel confident in their dresses it shows. When they feel insecure it shows. I want all my girls to feel comfortable, happy and beautiful

We're doing different styles, but same fabric and length! My bridesmaids actually picked out dresses that went well together with the flowiness of the sleeves and my MOH picked something a little different so it worked out with me wanting her to stand out a little more since she is my sister. Bridesmaids will be in burgundy and MOH will be in desert rose.

I’m allowing mine to pick but all have to be the same material so colors stay the same. My matron of honor tho I’m having her in a different color

I picked different shades of blue and let them pick the style dress and which color shade they liked. I like the mismatched look.

I'm all for team letting the bridesmaids have some say in the style, because everyone has different body type. I picked out several dresses in the same color, fabric, and basic silhouette and then let my bridesmaids choose something from this selection that works for them. I also had a pregnant bridesmaid so a single dress wouldn't have worked anyway
