Hi ladies! I wanna do something special to ask my girls to be my bridesmaids. I've looked on Pinterest but I wanna hear your ideas!

Even though I'm best friends with my brides maid I'm not asking until this fall. I'm only doing like a card that has a pretty fabric envelope.

I had small boxes made. The lady painted them tiffany blue and put a white bow around them. Inside were "bride maid survival kits". Items came from Michaels and target. Very inexpensive.

I'm just writing a personal card to them. Save the money for thank you gifts on the big day.

First, wait to ask them, it's way too early! Also giving them an elaborate proposal box can make them feel like they have to say yes, at least ask them on the phone or in person first then "officially" pop the question.

You should ask them 6-8 months before the wedding what I did I ask my MOH like 3 weeks ago simple way on a Starbucks cup but when it comes to my bridesmaids not sure how to ask them so we are in the same boat good luck !!!

Please wait! I asked mine way too early. I didn't listen to people's advice about waiting to ask your bridesmaids, because I was naive to think it didn't apply to me. Because ~~my BM's and I will tooootally be best friends FOREVER~~. Nope. I have already drifted apart from two of them since December, and I seriously regret not waiting. Don't do what I did and assume your friendships won't change or grow apart.

But, I did a bottle of wine (or sparkling cider) and a card.

If you want to do a box you can also DIY pretty easily. I got cute boxes at hobby lobby and filled them with little things and added fun notes to them - lip balms, mini bottles of champagne, nail polish, pictures of us together, and of course a note. You can also find cute, cheap ideas on Etsy. I found bridesmaid hair ties for like ten bucks for a set.

I got a pretty necklace from Amazon that said will you be my bridesmaid. I got a card that was like a lottery scratch off. When scratched, it said XYZ will you be my MOH. The necklace was $30 and the card was $8. Both from Amazon. Nice and easy.

I`ve just invite them to the photosession with different wedding favors like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XRHK3RC/. And this was how I asked them to become my bridesmaids!

    Was lovely!

Thanks girls! I wasn't planning on asking just yet! I realize I have two years but it's not too early to get ideas!
