Bridesmaids shoes

Unless they're wearing short dresses, no one will see them. Even then, no one is going to pay attention to your bridesmaid's shoes.

There’s no reason to make them match because my bridesmaids dresses are long and no one will see them

I think asking them to wear the same color of shoe is common and probably a good idea. Incase one of your bridesmaids have a flare for the dramatic and shows up in rainbow platforms.haha
But asking them to wear a specific style could result in sore feet for some girls.

I told them I didn't care what shoes they wore, as long as they didn't wear cowboy boots to the ceremony. I hate the way boots look under long thin dresses because they're so bulky. The dresses are taupe so I said nude would probably go best but it was up to them. I told them after the ceremony/pictures, they are more than welcome to put boots on for the reception.

I am asking for the same color (silver), then their choice on what style! I don't know if they all feel comfortable in heels and I don't want them feeling uncomfortable. Like previous posts said as well you can't see them if they have long dresses!

We're having short dresses, but I didn't want to ask them to buy new shoes for the ceremony. So, I'm just asking they wear black shoes since they all already have a pair.

Do they have long dresses? If so, no one is even going to see their shoes lol. I let them wear whatever shoes they wanted! Especially because one of my bridesmaids had a torn ACL so she had to wear these really ugly black flats because it’s all that was supportive enough for her 😂 but literally I guarantee NO ONE noticed, she was just poking fun of herself for it :p but I would’ve let them wear any color regardless. I’m asking them all to wear flats because our ceremony is on grass so heels are a no go and just black shoes. They can pick whatever they want from there

I initially told them to pick any style they wanted as long as they were silver. However, no one purchased anything so I made the executive decision and chose the shoe for them. Sometimes giving options makes it harder and all I kept hearing was, "we'll wear whatever you want us to." I waited over 4 months for them and it was stressing me out.

Everyone has different comfort levels, especially when it comes to shoes. Some of my gals don't do well in heels for very long, others LOVE heels, others (including me) actually can't do ballet flats or sandals for long because of our feet... so I honestly couldn't care less what my wedding party wears on their feet as long as they're all comfortable for the whole event!

If they are wearing short dresses, I'd probably recommend some cohesion (so for example, all nude shoes or all silver shoes), but if they are wearing long dresses it doesn't matter at all, and they should just wear what they are comfortable with.

My girls are all wearing long dresses so I‘m letting them wear whatever they want as long as it’s nude heels (which I know they all own).

I told my girls to wear the same color (silver), I thought it would be a cute photo. Also, one of my best friends hates wearing high heels and the rest want to wear heels, so I wouldn’t make her wear them. I want them to be comfortable.

Our BM’s wore long dresses, so I let them pick their own shoes. I just asked them to wear a nude colored shoe.
