Bridesmaids... mixed metals?

I would love to gift my bridesmaids some jewelry for the day of the wedding. My Bridesmaids will be wearing Dusty blue and sky blue dresses and my wedding venue decor has gold. Do I have tp gift my bridesmaids gold jewelry or can it be silver?

I don't think it has to be gold. People often give the advice that you shouldn't gift your bridesmaids things that are only for the wedding (so like, don't give them a necklace that says bridesmaid, for example). I think the same could apply here. Don't give them gold just because it matches your décor, give them what you actually think they would like to wear, whether they wear it on your wedding or at another time.

Hey Catherine! I don't think you need to match the decor at all! Mixed metals is super in right now so if your bridesmaids prefer to wear silver I say go for it! Plus I think silver and blue looks so good together!

You definitely don’t need to match the decor. I think that sky 🌌 / sky blue and silver is a beautiful combination.
