Bridesmaids in white or black?

Black can be very elegant. I don't think it's depressing at all.

Black is a classic for a reason. We wear black dresses to all kinds of events. I say if you love the idea, go for it! Look at these inspo pics, they look amazing!

Black! It is not depressing at all. And I think the dark BM dresses next to your light colored dress will really make you stand out.

I think black would be better because even if it's a white dress that's darker than yours it wouldn't differentiate as much so the contrasting black would be nice

Black sounds great. There are a lot of white shades that don’t look good together— an ultra white next to a white can make the white just look dirty, so black feels safer to me.

I love the color black! It goes with almost everything! Like PP have said its a classic color. I am doing a black and white wedding where I wear white and the BMs wear black with my FH wearing all black and the GMs wearing white. So it's up to you! I hope that helps!

Agreed! Black would look really classy. White is difficult to do because it drowns out the bride most of the time

If you are wearing white I say black or black and white.

Black is classic and gorgeous and your bridesmaids would probably wear the dress again. An off white shade is going to feel too similar to yours and you can’t really do black flowers so it’s just too much white. I think black is 100% the way to go!

Black for sure! I love the contrast and I'm even considering it for my bridesmaids. Plus, as an added bonus, your bridesmaids will likely be able to wear the gown AGAIN! That is very important to my bridesmaids who have gowns in their closets collecting dust.

My older ladies are wear black and gold dresses. Our Jr. bridesmaid is wearing a simple black dress.

I think black and white is very classy. If you’re worried about it being too dark, you could go with any shade of grey.
