Bridesmaids Gifts

I’m trying to decide what to get my girls. We’ve all been in weddings before and have gotten the traditional bridesmaids gifts but we’re all in the point in our lives where we don’t really have any need or use for that kind of thing. So I’ve had a few ideas but I’m having trouble deciding.

1) weekender bags 2) tote bags3) button down shirts 4) take them all a couple days before to get our nails done and/or take care of their hair On wedding day
Any thoughts or suggestions? I’ve also thought of just asking them, but what’s the etiquette on that? Bridesmaids Gifts 1

Personally, I love the idea of a weekend or tote bag! It’s so practical and they’ll use it again and again. Also, I like the nail idea too because you can spend time together! I don’t think it’s wrong to ask what they would like as gifts, especially if you give them some options such as “would you rather button up or tote bag?”. Your bridesmaids are probably your best friends anyway so they know you well and won’t be offended or feel weird about you asking.

That was my thought too behind the bags, it’s something that will actually be used after the wedding! Of course I’d have to get use of one too! Lol

I'd love to get the weekend bag! A nice gift that I would actually use in my everyday life. It's awesome that you're thinking of things your BMs will appreciate and get use out of!

I’ve thought about it, but I haven’t decided yet. Two of my BM are my future SIL so last names are probably out! Lol

Honestly if I was in a bridal party I’d most enjoy the nails done gift! It’s something they will most likely be planning to do anyways but it’s a nice gesture as a gift

I love the weekender/tote idea. Don’t put their names on them though. I guess a lot of people like that, but there are certainly those of us that don’t.
Paying for nails is good too.

I agree with the weekender/tote idea. I have noticed that it not too expensive if you just do their first initial on the bag too. Plus it gives a nice personal touch.
