Bridesmaids gifts

What is everyone planning for bridesmaids gifts and what is the average amount spent? Having hard time figuring a reasonable budget or gift

I have kinda gone overboard in this department because I keep seeing cute stuff on Etsy. Oh well! Lol. So far I have gotten them all a personalized makeup bag and compact mirror. As well as a candle and pashmina. I still plan on getting them robes as well for getting ready photos, but those do not count as gifts.

If you’re trying to save money in this department, pashminas are very nice and super affordable! You could also build them all a “self care” package with bath bombs, face masks, lipgloss, etc if they are into that kind of stuff. 😊

Here’s where I bought the pashminas and they’re on sale right now:

I capped my bridesmaids gift budget at $100 retail value per girl throughout. So a shower/bachlorette thank you and wedding thank you gift all need to fall in that budget I set.
That being said, I'm doing embroidered totes. And embroidering them myself. Laser engraved wine yeti type glasses, and engraving them myself.
Maybe some earrings. Also considering doing water bottles and nail polish sort of thank you. For the bachlorette party.

My bridesmaids have gotten together and gotten robes for the bachelorette trip. So since they already took care of that... I wanted to get creative.... got them rose gold earrings and bracelets. Built then a care kit with pre party and post pmparty recovery face masks and bath bombs. I like the idea of the pashmina!!!! Not sure though if I should spend any more.... I'm putting all of the things I got them into a "4things Tote" check it out online. Proceeds to charity. And a bottle of their favorite wine.

My men of honor are a whole different thing. They're getting a flask and a bottle of bourbon.

I didn't really spend much overall until I decided to give them gift cards in addition to the gifts, then that hyped up the amount because I felt like they were spending a lot on me for bachelorette and shower and they're paying their own travel and attire so I didn't want my gift to be disproportionate. i also gave them a gift after each event - after the shower and after the bachelorette and will give them their final main gifts at the rehearsal dinner

after the shower i gave them bath salts and a gift card [from my shower to yours]

at the bachelorette i gave them bride tribe tshirts and hangover kits i made that consisted of tylenol, a toothbrush, wet wipes, tissues, a breakfast bar, and vitamin c packets, and a gift card

my main gift consists of a tote bag that says bridal entourage, a keychain i made of everyone's initial, a mirror, a face mask, lotion, a necklace, a bracelet, socks, and hair ties

Budget wise, that is 100% up to you. I spent about $75 a person for mine. I got them all personalized passport covers (our wedding is travel themed), and then matching earrings for the wedding that they actually can wear again (I may have bought myself a pair too). There is no "set' amount. My advice is to get them something they will actually use. My advice is to skip the "bridesmaid" stuff unless you are willing to spend the money just for pictures. Think about what you would really want. I was at a wedding and they gave us each a bottle of wine that we would like and a gift certificate to a restaurant we go to as a group all the time. It was perfect! Practical and meant something.

I spent about $30 per bridesmaid. They each get a robe, earrings, a bracelet, personalized water bottle, and a cute personalized jewelry dish (I did decals for the water bottles and jewelry dishes myself) and I put it all in a cute box with a faux flower.

So far I got my girls canvas makeup bags that I’m painting “bridesmaid/moh” on and I’m painting wine glasses that will have their names on it, as well as some other little things to put in the box like ring pops, bath stuff, and I’m still looking for other stuff! I’m trying not to spend too much on it since we’re on a budget, but there’s just so much cute stuff!
