Bridesmaids fighting...What to do?

Mrs. S, on February 23, 2016 at 10:36 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

My bridesmaids are having a hard time agreeing on bachelorette party. I do not have details and am in no way part of the planning process. Today things got ugly and some of the girls aren't feeling some of the other girls. I just want everybody to get along and don't want any drama. Do I let them hash it out or do I try to mediate. I don't want them fighting over my party, I really could care less what we did. Two of my bridesmaids are my cousins and now my aunt is somehow involved, I'm just like wtf! Way too much going on right now to be thinking about this. What do you guys think?

Just tell them what you want for your bachelorette. This way they can't fight for control and it may help smooth things over.

Yup, I agree. Just say I want this and that and end of discussion.

Maybe just some perspective would help? Could you talk to your bridesmaids and say "hey, I've heard that there's a bunch of fighting over my bachelorette? I'm not sure what's going on but all I want is to spend some special time with my absolutely closest friends before my wedding". Hopefully that will shame they a little bit and help remind them what the party is actually about Smiley smile
