Bridesmaids Feet !!

RMARIE318, on October 17, 2016 at 6:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 35

What are ya'lls bridesmaids wearing for shoes ?! I have 2 that want to wear flats and 2 want to wear heels . Here is their dress ,,, but in navy ,, I really don't mind but want to make sure if it would look ok with mismatched shoes ... there is a slit so shoes may be seen . I'm open for anything that makes them comfortable!

I'd let them wear whatever shoes they're comfortable in. Especially since you have floor length dresses, no one will see or care.

I let my girls choose. I didn't even care the color they chose.

If you are having an outside wedding or ceremony, I would not have them in heels. As long as the shoes are the same color (only because of the slit), it should look fine. I am letting my girls pick their own shoes, but they will be hidden by their long dresses.

Let them wear whatever shoes they'll be comfortable in. When the dresses get hemmed, they'll be hemmed to suit the shoes they'll be wearing; if they want to wear heels, they'll need to wear/bring them to wear at the alterations appointment, and the same applies for those wanting to wear flats.

The seamstress will make sure the dresses are floor-length, regardless of the style of shoe worn. It'll turn out better than you think it will.

I haven't chosen my bridesmaids yet, but I'd let them wear what they'd like. Just make sure they know if they'd be walking on uneven ground/outside if you're not having the ceremony indoors/on flat ground.

Yeah - especially with floor length dresses it doesn't matter.

My girls wore whatever. I honestly don't even remember what they ended up with - I just told them a color.

I'm letting them wear whatever they choose to wear. Last year my sister chose a set of heels and a set of flats for the bridal party to choose from.

I've never been in a wedding where the BMs didn't wear mismatched shoes. I've always been given a color and told to pick whatever I wanted. My BMs choose to wear any black shoe of their choice.

I think with the long dresses and only a portion of the shoes peeking out, no one will be able to tell some BMs are wearing flats and others are wearing heels. And no guest is going to be staring at your BMs' feet.

I'm getting the same bridesmaid dresses but in the spa color! I'm letting them choose whatever they want to for shoes. Not something that's important to me. Some will wear heels (and go barefoot for beach pics) some will wear flats.

@bluehenbride I was in two weddings last year where I was given the shoe to wear ! They were flats and the bride purchase them ! It is so funny how everyone has different experiences !! That's why I love coming here to see everyone else's thoughts and experiences !!

I let my girls wear whatever they wanted. It worked out really well.

We were outside, so I warned them about heels, but I had 1 in heels, 1 in flats, 1 in wedges, and 2 in ankle boots. All black.. Looked great!! And everyone was comfortable.

I never understand why people care what the bridesmaids' feet are doing, especially in a long dress.

I think all my girls have picked different styles. But all their dresses are mismatched also. I don't think it matters too much.

I let my girls wear whatever they wanted as long as it was black. The dresses were navy.
