Bridesmaids Dresses

So before the world got shut down, my bridesmaids ordered their dresses from David's Bridal. They came in about two weeks ago but they were the wrong color. The dresses were supposed to be "mist" but there was a mix up at the store and the cashier ordered them in "fog". I attempted to call customer service, but apparently you can only text them due to everything going on right now. When they finally texted back two days later, the customer service person told me that the text line is only for online orders and I will simply have to wait until the store opens back up. I know that my wedding isn't until October, but it is still majorly stressing me out!!! Plus I'm just so over David's Bridal that I kind of just want to return the dresses and get my girls' money back. During the appointment, our stylist kept referring to two of my bridesmaids as "the bigger girls" and then she ordered the dresses wrong so at this point I'm just over it.

    What is the return policy? Do you think you'll be able to return them once the store opens? If so, maybe start looking through other websites and see if you find something else you like?

    So sorry you had a bad experience with them! Thanks for this info because 2 of my bridesmaids are in the process of getting their dress through them but I’d rather them order from Kleinfeld. You can definitely return them and get their money back once the stores reopen. I know about their return policy.

    DM is the worst!!! Honestly my mom and I had the worst time there when my brother was getting married and would never go back.

    I believe you can’t exchange dresses only return and reorder, at least that’s what they told me to do. So I would suggest you return them ASAP and reorder with the correct size or just get a refund and shop elsewhere. So sorry this happened to you.

    We want to return them but unfortunately we have to wait until the stores reopen! Their return policy states 14 days after receiving the dresses but surely they’ll have to extend that since the stores are closed and we can only return in store!

    Do you have some kind of documentation that you contacted them within the 14 days that they were the wrong color? If so then yes they should have to honor the return. If you didn’t reach out within the 14 days then unfortunately they won’t be required to honor it.

    Yea my MOH got her dress from David's because she wanted to be able to try it on first (even though I tried to convince her a lot of the mail order places let you and do returns). Her experience there wasn't the greatest and now her dress is currently hostage because the stores aren't open and she has no idea where it is.
