Bridesmaids Dresses (Same or Different?)

I did the same thing with my bridesmaids! Same color but different dresses!

My bridesmaids each picked out a different dress! I specified the length and color and let them pick whatever they are comfortable in. When I looked at wedding pictures of others who had mismatched bridesmaids dresses, I truly didn't notice that they were different if I wasn't looking for it, as long as the color and length were the same.

I like the concept because no one dress style is flattering on every single body type. Nor is everyone comfortable in certain popular styles.

I had everyone in the same dress, but I wish I had let them pick their own style because a week before my wedding my sister decided she hated her dress and wouldn't wear it. She ended up with a different dress in the same color, but different style. Since she was the maid of honor, it didn't seem weird that she was the only one in a different style.

All of my girls chose different dresses and different fabrics. all i asked was that it was shades of pink. it actually came out in photographs very nicely! but i DEFINITELY was worried aha because i didn't care if it was different but i cared about how cohesive it looked -didnt want one person standing out so much, etc. but in the end it worked out nicely

I’m letting all my bridesmaids pick their dresses as long as they are long, the same color and either a chiffon or mesh. They’re all actually really excited about it knowing that they can get whatever they want as long as those things match. No two body shapes are alike so I’d rather them feel comfortable!

Different Styles, Same Color && Length

My bridesmaids will wear the same dress and my two MOH will have on a different dress. I do also like the mix and match look as well

I like the mix and match look and had the girls pick their own dress in a few different color options and fabric and length. They all ended up picking the same dress in the same color though, so we ended up with matching dresses. We went with David's Bridal though because I had not heard of Azazie yet, and David's Bridal hasd super limited options for knee-length dresses.

I really like the idea of mismatched bridesmaids dresses. I have 5 bridesmaids and 2 will be wearing navy blue, 2 will have a lighter blue, and my maid of honor is wearing a floral dress with both those colors in it so that way they'll all be cohesive with the color scheme. They will be the same length and material but they will be able to choose their own style. I like the idea of them choosing something they're comfortable in and look best on their bodies.
