Bridesmaids Dresses - Different States

I've heard great things about Birdy Grey. If you guys like the styles from Azazie, their "cabernet" is probably closer to a burgundy. You could also order swatches, which may be easier than an entire dress.

I'm not aware of any other "try-on" sites, but I wanted to make a comment about Azazie. My bridesmaids are getting their dresses through them. A lot of it has to do with the fact that they are spread out over two states, and cannot get together for a try on session.

At first, I thought I knew what color I wanted. But I ordered a fabric swatch "just to be sure." I'm so glad I did, because when the swatch came, it was the wrong color!! I mean, it was the color swatch I ordered, but it wasn't the color I wanted for the dresses!! So, I went back to the site, and ordered 3 more swatches in various shades that I thought were close to what I wanted. Thankfully, the color I wanted was one of the other swatches. But if I hadn't done that, I would have been ordering the totally wrong color for my girls! The point is that color on a computer screen can look very different than it does in reality, in person.

Azazie has a ton of colors. I would suggest to your friend the bride that she order a few more swatches from them, to see if they have the color she is looking for. I bet they do. The swatches are only $2 each, I think, so not that much to be sure of the color.

Try "Cabernet" from Azazie. It's definitely closer to the color she's wanting. A friend of mine ran into the exact same issue.

Thanks ladies! I appreciate the responses! She did order the swatches, but I think only one specific fabric was the color she was looking for. She ordered the dresses to test the color out and when she received them for another bridesmaid to try on, the colors just weren't what she was looking for. I let her know about "cabernet" - so we might give that swatch a try!

Personally, I love Azazie! I ordered a dress for another wedding from them and love their customer service and prices! Definitely a great company for the modern wedding world!

You could always order a dress from Nordstroms which has a fab return policy or Lulu's which are cheap dresses that you could return after everyone tries them on to see if they work or not. I had to do this because my bridesmaids all live around the country too.

I live in Memphis and have bridesmaids out of state as well! What ended up being easiest for me is I went into davids bridal and picked the dress and color, and they can go to the one in their area to try them on the get the size right!

Hey Brittany!! Have you had any luck finding somewhere to get dresses for all of the BMs? Are you all going to be wearing the same style, or just the same color in different styles?
