Bridesmaids dressed

Unfortunately they’ll get a dress when they get it. I found for mine there was only so many times I could remind them and they still wouldn’t get it by when I’d want. They’ll get it, it just might not be by time you want and it’s annoying for us that’s for sure cause it’s anxiety inducing but the point is more so for them to get it on time by the wedding.

They know when the wedding is. They know that they need a dress by then. If they don’t have one, they can sit with the rest of the guests. No need to remind adults of their responsibilities.

This has been a weird time with the stay at home orders. Are they feeling financially strained? Or even just feeling overwhelmed with life right now?


No, you can't really remind adults of their responsibilities. But you can coordinate with your maid of honor to talk with the rest of them by asking "do you need inspiration? What have you found? Can I help?" From there a date for EVERYONE can be set to find a dress so then alterations can be fit in if needed.
I understand that this is frustrating, but it would be harsher to tell them to sit with your guests if they don't have a dress by the wedding.
