Your wedding is a year away, it's really early to pick out bridesmaid dresses. Will it still be available in ~6+ months?

I really like these! I think it’s fine for your bridesmaids to go ahead and get their dresses if that’s the dress you know you want! My girls got their’s 2-3 weeks after I got engaged (10 months before my wedding) because the dress I loved was on sale, and I didn’t want the company to run out of them.

They may not feel comfortable buying a dress a year out from when they'll be wearing it. A lot can happen in a year. I have no idea what size I will be in a year; my size fluctuates, and alterations are expensive (and limited - there is only so much they can alter a dress before you just need to order a different dress, especially if you gain weight). In 12 months they could even get pregnant, grow a human being, and give birth, or be 7 months pregnant when the wedding comes around. It's neither necessary nor a good idea to order bridesmaid dresses so far out from the wedding.

I think you should definitely confirm with everyone that they like it, it's in budget, and they think ordering it a year out will work.
