Bridesmaids dress help

Amber, on March 9, 2020 at 3:03 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15
I am having a hard time finding bridesmaids dresses. I looked at 7 shops over the weekend and none of them sold bridesmaids dresses or they were 300$ and up a piece. The closet David's Bridal is 2-3 hours from me but I dont want to make my friends drive that far, especially if there is nothing worthwhile. I am going to drive there with my maid of honor to check it out, but in case it doesnt, does anyone know any good online sites that are trust worthy?

I'd suggest looking online. Type into Google - Bridesmaid dresses online and the stores will pop up in abundance. Also check out Amazon and Wish - they are basically the same dresses that you would purchase in any major boutique for a 1/4 of the cost.

Azazie is a great website! Lots of brides have had their bridal parties get their dresses from there and I got my wedding dress from them

I have looked online, but I heard JJs House is not reliable and Wish is the same.

Azazie. They have a ton of styles and colors. Plus they have the try-on home program to try on their sizes.

I understand your pain. I had 4 bridesmaids. Two of them live in Pennsylvania and two live in New Jersey. We met in New Jersey to go dress shopping. I live in Maryland so it was like a 3.5 hour drive for me. The two bridesmaids from Pennsylvania drove together and it was like an 1.5 hour drive for them. We went to a total of 4 places. The first three were small bridal shops and they had nothing even though I called with very specific questions and they assured me they would have the color, length and price range we wanted for my girls to try on that day. Needless to say they didn't so we went to David's Bridal. I ended up settling on a dress because my two bridesmaids drove so far and I would have felt terrible if I hadn't picked a dress that day. A lot of bride's recommend Azazie. I didn't use them, but I wish I had. I had been hesitant to order online and in researching places to look I found them, but I didn't read a lot of reviews so I didn't purchase anything from them. I read reviews after the fact which was admitably stupid on my part.

I think if you wanna get something way more affordable too you could consider just taking them to the mall aha . I got my dress at forever 21 for my best friends wedding and it’s definitely formal enough

I picked a color and told them to pick whatever dresses they felt flattered them. So far so good. Just make sure you stress to them that they need to use the size chart!!

Azazie! Our bridesmaids dresses came from there and we have nothing but positive things to say about them. They also have a try before you buy option, which is really great when purchasing online.

I had my girls order from azazie. Everyone got the same length and color and choose whatever style they were most comfortable in. I know 3 girls got dresses that were $109, which is incredibly reasonable

I ordered my (back up) wedding dress from Wish and it’s great quality in fact the same dress I picked was available at several bridal boutiques for $1000s of dollars.
If cost conscious, you need to have an open mind and read every review, look at the materials.

Azazie has lots of options and will send you swatches for $2 ea. A friend recently used them for her wedding and said the dresses are good quality and returnable as long as the girls don’t use custom measurements. We are likely going to use azazie as well if the swatches match the florals.

I also considered Lulu’s since they have bridesmaids dresses for a decent price but they are rather limited on colors.

I am using Birdy Grey for my girls. All the gowns are $99 with $8 shipping and they have plus size and pregnant friendly options. Azazie is also good but I have heard from some people they felt “cheap” (I can’t personally attest to that). My cousin who I am a bridesmaid for is also using Birdy grey and I have one of their gowns and it’s great.
