Bridesmaids choose own dress?

I did this with my girls and everyone was happy with their choices:

I did this. I didn't care that the color wasn't exact to one another either. I think my fear was one would stand out too much from the others, etc.and that it would clash but they all came out fine.

I did this. I chose the color, length, fabric, and place they needed to buy their dress from. It worked out great. We had zero struggles. Everyone picked a dress they love and within a price that works for them.

I think I'm going to do this also. I'll choose the color, length, and where they need to get the dress from (just to be sure everyone gets the exact same shade I want). I've considered choosing three or four dresses at different price points and letting them choose that way too.

I gave my girls a color and a length and they decided on a place to go and we went from there. I am letting them pick what style they want.

I gave my girls a color, fabric, and length from Azazie and they picked their own dress. They had over 100 options from $89-$169.

No two girls picked the same dress so that was cool!

I also had my girls shop through Azazie - I told them the color and floor-length, and let them run with it. I think they were a little overwhelmed at the choices, but my MOH put a handful of suggestions/dresses she liked into a group page to help people out. It worked out really well for us!

I love this! Did the girls have any trouble with the sizing of the dresses since they were ordering online?

I also picked a color and let them choose whichever dress they'd like. I haven't had a single issue so far. They're adults who know how to dress themselves!

Nope! Two girls ordered try ons at home before ordering. The rest just measured at home. Four of them came a little too large, but it made for easy alterations. I'm short so I have to alter all the dresses I order so alterations aren't super surprising!

I gave them 6 or 7 option to pick from, from Azazie. They gave me their top 3 choices from the selection I gave them. Each girl had a different number 1, so they all got their number 1 choice. I thought I could let go and let them each pick their own dress, but I realized it would probably drive me crazy if they didn't if I didn't get some say. Also apparently I know my girls well because the top ones that they picked were what I thought they would pick lol.

I did this with Azazie! I required it to be long, "dusk" colored, and chiffon. I also requested they each choose a different style and avoid strapless styles. I loved the way it looked!

I did this. It’s been working out great so far. I have 2 bridesmaids and a junior bridesmaid. I gave them a color and length so they would be somewhat cohesive and so far they’re all happy and everything flows.
