What did the bouquets for your bridesmaids cost? Going over my flower contract and remembering that mine are $80 and although it fits in my entire flower budget, it seems pretty high to me. Just wondering is that normal? I know in general flowers differ in area, season, etc. I just want to know if...

Just wondering is that normal? I know in general flowers differ in area, season, etc. I just want to know if I'm paying on average what most do for their ladies. I'd like to ask the florist to bring it down somehow without sounding offensive, tacky or cheap.

My girls bouquets are $35 each, they will have white hydrangeas with some greenery. My bouquet will be $65 for white hydrangeas, pink roses and lilacs.

We went with a grocery store florist. They ended up being $15ea. They are smaller and made out of carnations. Size and flower type will have a huge effect on cost

We're getting married in the Chicago suburbs and our florist is local (she works out of her home, actually). Does yours work in a shop or out of their home? They have less overhead if they work out of a home so that's something to keep in mind as well.

My bouquet is $150 and will have roses, gerbera daisies, hydrangeas, stock, delphinium, alstromeria and assorted seasonal fillers and greenery. My bridesmaids will have roses, stock, gerbera daisies and assorted seasonal fillers and greenery. I had asked my florist about removing the roses to cut back on price but she said the bouquets would look too empty without them.

We were only doing bouquets and boutonnieres and since they'll be in a lot of pictures, I figured it was worth it to spend a little extra on them so they looked good.
