Bridesmaids are having a difficult time selecting dresses with the same color palette

Hi, I am new to wedding wire! I am getting married this year and am in the process of selecting a color pallet for my wedding party. I chose a particular shade of pink but it’s harder than I thought. my bridesmaids are welcome to wear any style they want as long as it’s the same color. They can’t find a dress that matches the shade of pink I chose. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make sure the right color is selected? They are buying online but the problem is every website names their own shades of pink and you never know what you’re getting online. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

I would recommend ordering swatches from all the big websites (Azazie, Kennedy Blue, Birdy Grey, Bella Bridesmaids) and then inform them what color names on each of those sites they can select.

I agree with Erin. I would look online and order swatches and then decide what color pink you want them to wear. Then they can pink a dress in that color from that specific website.

I also agree with the two above. I used Azazie for my bridemaids. They have tons of styles to choose from. Just order swatches from the site and once you find the right shade of pink tell the the name of it and from there they can choose whatever style they want in that specific color. AZAZIE also offers free custom sizing so they can skip tailor costs if they want.

They should all order from the same website just whatever style dress they want as long as it’s the same color. That’s what I did for my wedding.

The problem with colors is that no two manufacturers call the same shade by the same name, just like they do not use the same name for similar colors. Pick one designer and let them choose a dress from that narrowed down list. Otherwise you will have a mismatched rainbow.
