Bridesmaids and groomsmen attire

Chinda, on September 24, 2019 at 1:52 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
How far in advance do my bridesmaids have to order their dresses?

how far in advance for the men to go to the tuxedo store to get fitted and to rent out their tux?

FH doesn’t really do any planning I usually do all the planning he just goes when I tell him he needs to go. He’s not a planning type person.

I told my bridesmaids the color, length & fabric from Azazie 14 months out. They picked their own dresses. I had 9 bridesmaids and they ordered between 3-10 months out. Azazie production & shipping time was a max of 7 weeks but typically was more like 4 weeks. We started shopping 6 months out for suits for my groom and went to several places. We decided on using GenTux (online rental service) about 2 months out and the guys had to reserve by 1 month out.

According to the checklist here on Wedding Wire, it's recommended to order the wedding party's attire 7-9 months out and then you and the groom about 4-6 months out.

We all started looking for our attire about 8-6 months in advance.

I’d say 3-4 months just to have them ordered, produced, delivered, altered if need be, and maybe Dry Cleaned (to get the Wrinkles out).
