Bridesmaids and Bras

I would leave undergarments up to them. I personally would only wear a strapless bra with a top like this, but I know my roommate would do a nude strapped bra. I’d leave it up to the preference of your girls.

Clear bra straps would be awesome too.

I second PP in letting the gals all decide for themselves--it's a very personal preference thing.

I think bra straps showing would be in very bad taste--gack!

I don’t think it’s really your place to choose your friends bras.

I would pick what i want them to wear and then let them decide what bra they’re comfortable in. I personally would not wear a top where you could see the bra straps, especially as a bridesmaid at a wedding. The straps will look tacky no matter if they’re skin color or not.
If you’re worried that you girls need to wear a regular and not strapless bra (first off I would ask before i picked a top) then maybe you do a top with thicker straps so a bra wouldn’t show. I personally wouldn’t pick an outfit without running it by my bridesmaids first. You want everyone to look good and feel confident. I’d get everyone together and talk about your vision and how you can make that work for everyone

Also, that girl is a model and that top looks unflattering on her, so maybe keep that in mind. There are a lot of tops that can go well with a tulle skirt. I’m wearing a tulle skirt and white top for my bridal shower. Maybe consider a lace top

I would let your friends decide. I personally think it looks very trashy to have your bra showing.

Some gals literally can't wear a strapless bra if they want to have any semblance of a good time for an event. Most strapless bras don't work for me and I'd much rather be seen as trashy for having straps (probably not a shocker to anyone that I'm wearing a bra) and actually enjoy the event.

Additionally, I agree with PP about the top not being overly flattering for the dress. In addition to that, the material is quite thin and won't work well with sweat or, for some smaller-breasted but conscious ladies, going braless. This is a highly personal decision you should not be making for them.

If the only option is to wear bra strap I would get clear rather than a color even if it’s skin tones colored. Less noticeable for sure

Leave the choice of straps to the individual. But any strap that shows, would be bad. For those who need the support, there are clear plastic straps you can buy, to sew on a bra, so they go under spaghetti straps which are basted to them. Or, an old seamstress trick is to chain crochet nylon monofilament, like the clear fishing line that will take a 20-40 pound pull. It makes an 1/8 to 1/4 inch thin strap, which you sew into a casing so a flat spaghetti straps. Fit it to hook to bra in front and back. Baste the super strong , silky covered super strap right underneath the spaghetti straps of the dress. You put on the dress with sewn together straps, then hook the dangling ends of the extra strap to the bra. Strong thin weight bearing straps that do not slide out from under spaghetti straps, or any thin strap. ( My first costuming job overseas was for a costumer for opera, and ballet. Opera singers often have very large chests, deep v cleavage, and support is different than for thin models and ballerinas. Those cutlets and tape do not work. They need support cables.)

I don't think visible bra straps are ever a good look for any sort of formal or fancy occassion. I probably wouldn't choose dresses that would be difficult for my maids to wear comfortably - if I had well endowed girls on my squad I would have at least one dress option that allowed them to wear a regular or convertible bra without it showing.

Top is high enough to use sticky tape. Perky pear is my favorite. I'm an F and perky pear is amazing!

Strapless is classy. No one wants to see a bra this is an elegant affair besides I dont leave anything up to my bridal party. I decide what's going to happen.

I would not choose a spaghetti strap dress if I had well endowed bridesmaids...straps showing look very tacky and speaking as an H cup here (yes, I am a 30H) there is absolutely no way I could wear a strapless bra for longer than an hour or two even if I wanted to. If you have busty bridesmaids, then I'd choose a different style of dress that will cover their bra straps. Strapless bras are extremely uncomfortable for us "blessed" ones; keep in mind your bridesmaids will need to be comfortable all day long! I would talk to your bridesmaids directly first to see if wearing strapless bras is even an option, and THEN choose the style of dress
